Daddy wrote this while I was struggling to poop
This is my daddy's diary entry when i was 3 weeks old
It has been more than 3 weeks since you were born. As I stay here watching you asleep, I collect the thoughts I had over the past few weeks. I listen to your every breath, that irregular pattern of breathing. Contemplating on everything you have to learn. From the very basic of breathing. to the complicate task of pooping. The act of bowl moment take all of your energy and concentration. It is only through a couple weeks of practice and struggle that you will learn to let it out effortlessly. It was such agonizing to watch you grin, cry, and turn red face while struggling to go. Not knowing that it takes relaxation to let it out.
Everything in life is a struggle, it will have to be learned through experience, through mistake, through trials and errors. It isn't so easy to watch as parents. Knowing how to avoid a mistake or discover the solution to a struggle, you will have to experience it and figure it out yourself. Lesson can be taught, wisdom can be shared, but you will still have learn it yourself. The best gift to you is patient and support. It is ok to make mistake. As parents, we will have to accept that and provide the safety net, the support but allow you to forge your own ground.
